COOK SPACE FRIDAY FEELS | Self Love Trumps Hate

Less than half way into the first month of the year, and our leaders seem hellbent on smashing last year’s record for most horrific and offensive statements  -  we’re already vetting candidates for his replacement (and anticipating the slew of potential late night parodies) and even mother nature has seemed intent on throwing us into the (freezing) deep end to kick of 2018.
This MLK weekend, however, it feels apt to remember that times of hardship can inspire the greatest of human heroics, so we're aspiring to look on the upside of things this coming year.

And while the New Year often feels like an obligatory diving board into an "upgraded" version of ourselves, it needn't be a time of punishment and self-reprimand. Instead of looking to improve ourselves to death we’re spending this weekend honoring our desires and nourishing our bodies with dishes like this brothy, ginger chicken with bok choy from our upcoming guest chef Seamus Mullen

A few morsels from around the Cook Space table this week….
