On a date supposedly dedicated to love, we found ourselves yet again gripped in the horror of another senseless mass shooting on home soil. And, yet again, the response from our President did nothing to soothe our aching hearts. As we mourn the loss of far too many gone far too soon this President’s Day, we think back to our former fearless leader and can only aspire to soldier on in the pursuit of his message of hope and, ultimately, change.
In our continued persistence, we're taking advantage of the Lunar New Year today to set some new goals for the coming season. And while we’ve recently added a flurry of classes designed to refresh the body & soul (as featured in Goop’s Healthy NYC Guide), we’re more than a little excited about comfort food forward spaces like The Sosta, the women-run restaurant devoted to pasta (maybe our favorite carb - see our upcoming Pasta 101 class) and to de-stigmatizing female indulgence as a private, shameful thing.
