COOK SPACE FRIDAY FEELS | A Dish for Dad

Michelle Mannix

papa pride.jpg

As a business founded and largely run by women, we are extremely proud to support and be a part a community of strong sisters within and without the food industry, who, as we work toward shifting patriarchal paradigms, are finally being heard. But in this long overdue moment of female empowerment, we would be woefully remiss if we didn't shout out some very special men to us this weekend - the ones who raised us.

From that extra spoonful of brown sugar they sprinkled on our pre-school porridge, to the pride portrayed daily in the comments on our instagram feeds, we have been particularly blessed on a personal level to have been nourished, body and spirit, by extraordinary gentlemen.  For being the kind of men unafraid to raise and raise up strong women, we thank you and we love you to the moon and back (suspect sartorial choices aside.)

Here’s to you, Dads
