Living in New York, it can be easy to forget how fortunate we are to be part of a city that, though it still has ways to go, not only celebrates the LGBTQ community, but aims to champion it. It is a privilege, therefore, to dedicate this month to this vital and vibrant community, without which the concrete jungle would be all dark hues and hard edges.
