CULINARY CONFIDENCE SERIES

Our flagship culinary course here at Cook Space, this series is designed to arm students with the technical tools and skills to explore their culinary curiosities to full effect. These 6 week series are available in Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Levels, and are designed and taught by our Michelin alumna culinary director, Nini Nguyen.

CULINARY CONFIDENCE | 5-week series | Starting Wednesday September 11th

In this five week series, we will arm you with the fundamental tools to understand, explore, and develop your creativity and confidence in the kitchen. We’ll explore not just the “how” but the “why” behind each technique, allowing you to experiment, play, and cultivate your own signature culinary expression. 

Whether you’re a novice cook or complete beginner, we’re here to guide you through the basics and build your culinary confidence so you can identify what tastes good to you , how to apply that at home and how to help you bring it to life.

Throughout this series, you’ll learn fundamental cooking techniques including knife skills, steaming, braising, roasting, frying, sauces, and baking.   Each class is designed so you’ll complete a full meal including a protein, two sides, and a composed dessert by the end of each lesson. We will provide light, optional assignments for students to practice their skills throughout the week, and come back to the studio with even more confidence in the kitchen.  


The class topics include:

September 11th- Seafood
September 18th- Poultry
September 25th- Beef
October 2nd- Pork
October 16th- Everything Else

Please note that class starts promptly at 7 pm and will run for approximately 2.5 hours.
