WE’RE HIRING

Culinary Instructors

This is a paid, freelance position with potential room to grow. It holds professional and creative freedom. It suits people who are self-starters, take initiative and possess a willingness to commit time and effort to producing quality work.

Cook Space Brooklyn is hiring a Culinary Instructor to join our growing family. The position will support the Culinary Manager and teaching team in leading our series of cooking classes held in our beautiful culinary studio in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn.

This is an opportunity to work with a one-of-a-kind culinary institution, dedicated to helping the home cook learn professional skills, in an inspiring and un-intimidating space, largely without recipes, so as to better instill a more intuitive approach to cooking.

The Culinary Instructor will demonstrate and guide our students in how to prepare balanced and flavorful meals through hands-on instruction while showcasing correct techniques appropriate for the home cook. Experience in teaching is greatly preferred, but not required, and the ability to retain information, work cleanly in an open kitchen, and cultivate a warm, inviting and joyful cooking environment for guests is a must.
